Beamline optics installation and testing, August 2004

August-2004 news: first rocking curves tests of double-crystal monochromator (August, 2004). No heat load effects observed. To compare, theoretical FWHM for Silicon 111 @ 12keV is 31urad.

August-2004 news: bimorph-type Kirkpatrick-Baez mirrors are installed

August-2004 news: Horizontal focus of 62um achieved with new bimorph-type KB mirrors. The vertical focus measured at less than 20um.
